L'Etude - the French homework club after school at  KHPS

To assist Francophone stream students with their homework, FANS offers l'Etude homework club, a weekly extra hour after school that is supervised by a Teacher of French from the FANS team.

L'Etude is available for students enrolled in the Francophone stream of the bilingual program,  from Years 1 - 6.

Students are organised into small groups of 15 students by Stage (Years 1&2, Years 3-6), with weekly sessions every Monday or Thursday, from 3pm - 4pm.

The teacher is available to answer questions and explain concepts should the need arise. However, L'Etude is not tutoring, nor a lesson. Once homework is complete, students can read or play educational games in French, at the teacher's discretion.

Enrolment by term is on a first come, first served basis and can be done by email, indicating your preferred day and your child's details. Fees are $25 per session and are invoiced per term.

Please read the Terms and Conditions here.

Small groups

1 teacher of French from the FANS team for a maximum of 15 students per session to allow:

a greater focus of children on their task

better supervision from the teacher

2 levels

Sessions are offered according to age groups:

Year 1 and Year 2 (Stage 1)

Year 3 to 6 (Stages 2 and 3)

Kindy students do not have written French homework, so l'Etude does not apply to them.

2 days available

Sessions for students in the Francophone stream are offered on Mondays and Thursdays, 3pm to 4pm.

On each day, we run in parallel one session for Stage 1 students and one session for Stages 2 and 3 students.

Anglophone stream?

We may open a session for the students in the Anglophone stream in Year 3 to Year 6, if there are enough expressions of interests.

Yes, I would like a French Homework Club for the Anglophone stream!
